REMALOX & REMALOX HD
Superior Abrasion Resistance. Built-In Impact Protection.
REMALOX is a high abrasion-resistant rubber panel embedded with 92% alumina oxide ceramic tiles. This combination delivers superior abrasion resistance plus an impact cushion that protects the tiles from cracking.
With ceramic tiles nearly as hard as diamond, REMALOX easily handles wet and dry sliding abrasion challenges. The ultra-hard tile surface also prevents wet, sticky material buildup and caking issues.
Tiles That Stay in Place
The ceramic tiles are bonded to the rubber backing with extremely high bond strength, ensuring they remain securely in place even under the most demanding conditions.
Flexible Installation Options
REMALOX is manufactured with REMA TIP TOP’s proven CN bonding layer, allowing it to be applied using our cold bond adhesive system to a variety of surfaces. It can be installed directly onto the structural surface where wear is occurring, or bonded to a steel plate and then welded or bolted into position.

REMALOX
REMALOX is a composite construction of high wear-resistant 92 %-Al2O3 ceramic tiles (square, rectangular or hexagonal “SW“) vulcanized in special rubber with a CN bonding layer.
Properties
- CN bonding layer provides fast, long lasting adhesion
- High abrasion resistance
- Reduces operating costs
- Long service life increases the efficiency of your equipment
- Good weather resistance
Typical fields of application
- Lining against extreme wear caused by abrasion at high speeds
- For simple to medium duty applications in mining, gravel, sand and stone breaking mills and other industrial sectors
- Pipelines, vibratory feeders, cyclones, skips, bunkers, chutes, loading points, slides, hoppers, silos
REMALOX HD
Our high-quality REMALOX HD plates offer you optimum impact and wear protection for the most intense applications. With an extremely long service life, your plant can continue to operate with less downtimes, saving you time and money.
REMALOX HD is a combination of high wear-resistant 92 % Al2O3 ceramic tiles hot-vulcanized in special rubber on a 5 mm steel backing plate S235 (St-37), which allows secure fixing by stud welding. Alternating hour glass edge tiles prevent cracking at the weakest point (see image below).
Available in 3 different thicknesses: 1-3⁄8″, 2″, 3″ (35 mm, 55 mm, 75 mm).
Properties:
- Extremely high abrasion resistance
- Absorption of impact energies
- Easy, quick installation with secure fixing
- Reduction of operating costs
- Long service life increases plant availability
- Easily relocated
- Good weather resistance
- 3/16” steel backing plate
Typical fields of application:
- Lining against extreme wear caused by impact and abrasion at high speeds
- Lining of material transfer stations with low impact angles
- For medium to heavy duty applications in mining, quarries, sand and gravel plants and other mining industry applications
- Pipelines, vibratory feeders, cyclones, skips, bunkers, chutes, loading points, slides, hoppers, silos, etc.
