SC 4000 Cement is a room-temperature-curing liquid rubber adhesive that, when catalyzed with the appropriate amount of E-40 Hardener, delivers high-strength bonds without heat, pressure, or special equipment. Combined with E-40 Hardener, SC 4000 Cement bonds natural rubber, neoprene, SBR, and other rubber compounds to each other, to fabric, and to steel — making it ideal for wear and corrosion protection as well as conveyor belt repair.

SC 4000 Cement is ideal for lining installations, bonding rubber to rubber, rubber to fabric, rubber to steel, rubber to concrete, fiberglass, and urethane, as well as splicing and repairing fabric conveyor belting. This system is also recommended for repairs to existing rubber-lined vessels and rubber components.

SC 4000 Cement is especially effective when used with REMA TIP TOP CN Bonding Layer — a semi-cured neoprene layer used across a wide range of REMA TIP TOP cold-bond linings, lagging, and conveyor belt repair materials. It completes the curing process and creates an inseparable, durable bond.
