Job Summary

Develop opportunities within assigned territory for all RTTNA brand product sales.  Provide market information to appropriate departments to enhance the market share of products distributed.

Position Type

Full-Time Exempt. 40 hours per week / Monday – Friday 9:00am to 5pm

  • Regularly interact with RTTNA customers and employees to continue growth of profitable sales and market share.
  • Drive business through fostering positive business relationships.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Communicate with National Sales Manager regarding new and existing customers, account maintenance, new product requirements, product evaluation, product projections and sales promotions.
  • Frequent travel, routine visits to distributors, select OTR Retread/Retreaters, national account customers, trade shows, conferences and sales meetings. Visit each customer at least once per year.
  • Perform training seminars for distributors and end user customers.
  • Interact with distributors and their customers within the assigned territory to continuously improve their product knowledge, skills and training of TRM products.
  • Evaluate sales reports top determine needs of the assigned territory in distribution and product sales.
  • Provide feedback to management on trends and new product ideas.
  • Present territory issues to management team; competitor information, new products, supply issues and sales aids.
  • Provide on-time and accurate call reports, EMTP surveys, customer profiles and any other information that directly impacts the territory.
  • Continual training to enhance job and personal performance.
  • Provide assistance to the team when necessary.
  • Projects and special assignments.

Job Duties

  • Full-Time, Remote / work from your home office – must be proactive, motivated and self-sufficient.
  • Promote Rema Tip Top products to current and prospective customers within the designated territory.
  • Regularly interact with customers and employees to continue growth of profitable sales and market share.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Drive business through fostering positive business relationships. Establish long term, repeat business, key customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of all products and services offered by Rema Tip Top.
  • Provide basic training to customers in the application of Rema Tip Top materials and products.
  • Research and develop target lists of potential customers.
  • In-depth knowledge of target markets and develop market strategies and goals for each product and service.
  • Make regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads.
  • Manage sales within their designated territory by assisting the customer with product training, joint sales calls, and quoting.

Travel

Overnight travel is routinely expected of this position. Frequent regional travel by car/plane (25–50% depending on territory). Driving to customer or plant sites, sometimes on uneven or unpaved roads.

Qualifications

  • 2+ related technical field preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience; tire repair & Automotive Industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow territory and develop long-term relationships.
  • Ability to interpret market conditions and customer needs to drive pricing decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM and MS Office tools.
