2. Liberally apply RG 7000 cleaning solvent to entire area to be repaired and extending 2″ beyond area, ensuring all contaminants on belt surface are removed. Do not saturate any exposed fabric. Allow solvent to dry.
3. Prepare the surface using a buffing tool to achieve a rough profile and remove any loose material. Use the buffing tool at low speed to create a beveled edge around the damaged area.
4. Use clean section of cloth to wipe buffing remnants from repair area.
5. Apply RG 7000 Primer to prepared surface, ensure complete coverage of prepared area. Allow primer to evaporate. When RG 7000 is to be used on a hole through the conveyor belt, bevel both top and bottom covers around the hole, clean thoroughly as indicated above, and apply RG 7000 primer to prepared area. Then use duct tape to seal bottom of hole before applying RG 7000.
6. Mix RG 7000 by combining the Hardener to the Resin. Stir constantly for approximately 30 seconds. Hardener should be thoroughly blended until entire pot is one solid color.
7. After completing the mixing, RG 7000 is pourable for 1-2 minutes.* To ensure the best adhesions, RG 7000 should be poured onto the belt immediately after mixing.

8. If belt is on an on incline, continue to work RG 7000 until thick enough that it doesn’t sag, about 2-4 mins after mixing completed.
9. If applying over metal fasteners; grind metal fasteners to achieve a rough profile. Clean with solvent. Apply PR 200 to metal fasteners, allow to dry. Apply RG 7000 primer, allow to dry, pour on RG 7000.
Do not mix RG 7000 until you are ready to pour over fasteners.
10. RG 7000 should be left completely undisturbed for the first hour after application. Equipment may be placed back in operation after 1 hour.* Physical properties continue to develop during first 24 hours.

11. If desired, RG 7000 may be buffed at low speed to create a smooth surface 1 hour after application.*
